Our company, which started its activities as Güven Bakır İş ve Koll. Şti in 1948 with the production of copper sheet, has developed over time, and in 1993, by incorporating copper coil and strip production in 1993, it was transformed into Gemciler Güven Metal San. ve Tic. A.Ş. in 1997. Established for the production of electrolytic copper and conductors, Gemciler Güven Metal San. ve Tic. A.Ş. has continuously developed with increasing investments every year and has become a leader in its sector and one of the leading organizations of the Turkish industry with its modern and high technologies.
In the products and services we provide to our customers by using up-to-date technologies; to keep customer satisfaction at the highest level, to manage customer feedback effectively, to make timely delivery with effective use of resources by eliminating non-value-creating transactions, to improve the quality of water, air and soil in every environment by continuously improving the quality management system.
To be the first internationally preferred company in the production of copper coils, plates and sheets.
R&D department has a special importance in Gemciler Güven Metal San.Tic.A.Ş. For this purpose, it takes care to follow the latest technologies and apply them within its organization. This is not only a condition required to produce sheet and strip suitable for a need marketed by the industry. It also includes the long-term work required to meet new competitions in copper alloy production.
We established Horizontal Casting Facility.
We took the first step to become an R&D Center.
We updated our quality management system and obtained the latest ISO:9001 2015 certificate.
We obtained the ISO:9001 2008 certificate for quality management system.
To enhance product quality and capacity, we established a vertical casting facility.
To improve product quality, we added new tinning furnaces and rolling mills.
We transformed into Gemciler Güven Metal San. ve Tic. A.Ş. and became institutionalized.
We added copper coil and strip manufacturing to our portfolio.
As Güven Bakır İş ve Koll. Şti, we started copper sheet production.
